Terms of service
Creating with PipScene.
The terms for your account, your content, website creation, credits and paid services.
01About these terms
These Terms cover the PipScene service operated by [Legal operator name] in California, United States. Effective date: [Effective date]. They apply to your account and use of the service, together with the offer accepted for a purchase or a separately agreed custom project.
You must agree to the applicable Terms before using the service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to exclude. The Privacy Notice explains how personal information is handled; it does not replace any separate consent required for a particular use.
02Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 and use PipScene for business or professional purposes. If you act for an organization, you must have authority to do so. Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials and use authorized workspace access rather than sharing a password.
Contact [Support email] if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not access another customer's projects or bypass account, safety or usage restrictions. Service availability is also subject to applicable law and provider-supported locations.
03What PipScene provides
PipScene uses AI to create cinematic website designs, media and source code from your instructions. The service provides private previews, downloadable static source files and separately requested revisions, subject to your plan and accepted project scope.
Customer website hosting, domain registration, production backends and custom integrations are not included in the standard service. Any additional custom work requires a separate agreement. A preview does not mean a form, booking flow or payment integration is ready to accept real customers.
04Requesting work and reviewing results
Before charged work begins, PipScene shows how many credits the build will hold. Your explicit build or revision request authorizes the described work within that hold; you are charged only for what it uses, and the rest is returned. Ordinary conversation and viewing your delivered alternatives are not charged. A revision is a new scoped request; changing a design does not authorize unrelated work.
AI results can contain errors, unsuitable material or code that needs further work. Review the facts, claims, functionality, security, accessibility and licensing before using or publishing a result. We do not guarantee a business outcome, search ranking, legal compliance or suitability for a regulated use.
05Your content and permissions
You retain the rights you already hold in your briefs, text, images, clips and other material. You must have the rights and permissions needed for PipScene and its providers to process that material and create the requested results, including relevant copyright, trademark, privacy and likeness permissions.
You give PipScene permission to store, copy, process and adapt your material, and to provide it to the service providers needed to carry out your requests, operate, secure, support and troubleshoot the service, as described in the Privacy Notice. This permission does not transfer ownership of your original content to PipScene or authorize us to use your project as a public testimonial or portfolio example without separate permission.
06Using delivered work
You may use, modify and publish the source and media delivered for your projects, including for commercial projects, subject to applicable law and third-party licenses. To the extent PipScene holds rights needed for those uses, PipScene grants you permission to exercise them.
This permission does not transfer ownership of the PipScene service, brand or underlying tools. Keep copyright, attribution and license notices required for included fonts, code and other third-party material. AI results may resemble material generated for others; we do not promise exclusive rights, copyright protection or freedom from third-party claims.
07Plans and renewal
Paid subscriptions are not currently available for public purchase. When paid plans become available, the checkout offer will identify the price, billing period, included credits, applicable taxes and renewal terms before purchase.
Monthly plans bill monthly. Annual plans charge the full annual price upfront and provide credits monthly over twelve months. Subscriptions renew at the disclosed interval unless canceled. Plan changes take effect at renewal, and do not rewrite an already accepted project quote. We will provide applicable purchase acknowledgments and legally required renewal or price-change notices.
08Credits and usage charges
Credits measure service usage; they are not a fixed cash balance. Monthly grants carry over for one additional monthly cycle. Purchased top-up credits do not expire and do not reload automatically. Your legally required redemption and refund rights still apply.
We hold credits before work begins and charge supported usage up to that hold. Unused credits return to their original credit source, subject to its existing expiry rules. PipScene absorbs costs above the hold.
After a paid subscription term ends, purchased credits remain usable with two active project slots and one build at a time. Ending a paid subscription term does not by itself remove access to previously delivered work. Ending renewal is different from permanently closing an account.
09Failed work, revisions and refunds
A technically failed operation releases or returns the affected credits. When only part of a promised design set passes delivery checks, we identify the unavailable designs, waive source-building credits for that request and return the unavailable share of the delivery fee.
Changing a technically valid result because of creative preference is a new quoted revision or rebuild. Credit adjustments are separate from a refund to your payment method and do not replace any cash refund or other remedy required by law.
[Before paid launch: complete the policy for discretionary cash refunds and unused purchased credits when an account is permanently closed.]
10Cancellation and billing questions
When subscriptions are available, you can stop future renewal using the cancellation controls in your account. Cancellation preserves the current paid term; an annual plan continues its scheduled monthly credit grants through that term. Canceling renewal and requesting account deletion are separate actions.
Contact [Support email] about an incorrect charge, missing delivery, cancellation problem or refund request. Include the relevant account or order reference, but never send full card details. Nothing in these Terms makes every purchase nonrefundable or limits your statutory remedies.
11Acceptable use and uploads
Use PipScene lawfully and respect other people's rights. These rules apply to prompts, uploads, generated work and use of the service.
- Do not create or share child sexual exploitation material, nonconsensual intimate imagery, unlawful threats, fraud or deceptive impersonation.
- Do not infringe copyright, trademark, privacy or likeness rights, or use a person's image or voice without the permissions needed for the intended use.
- Do not create phishing pages, malware, fabricated testimonials or misleading claims about a person or business.
- Do not bypass safety or security controls, access another customer's information, interfere with the service or abuse its resources.
- Do not submit passwords, full payment-card details, government identification documents, patient records or other sensitive records unnecessary for website design.
12Before you publish your website
You are responsible for reviewing and setting up your exported website before publication, including hosting, real business and contact details, forms, payments, privacy notices, cookie choices and required AI disclosures. Confirm that you can lawfully use its content and that its claims are accurate.
PipScene's own Terms and Privacy Notice are for this service. They are not the legal policies for your business. Keep a downloaded copy of work you need to retain.
13Availability and service access
Maintenance, technical failures and provider availability can interrupt the service. We do not promise that every request will succeed or that access will be uninterrupted or error-free. The delivery and credit remedies described above continue to apply.
We may restrict access or content when reasonably necessary to address misuse, security threats, legal obligations or a material breach of these Terms. Where practical and lawful, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contact us. We will handle remaining paid obligations and legally required remedies under the applicable agreement and law.
[Before publication: obtain review of the final liability allocation and dispute provisions. This draft does not impose mandatory arbitration, a class-action waiver or a monetary liability cap.]
14Custom work
Founder-led custom work requires a separate written agreement defining scope, price, deliverables, acceptance, access permissions and ongoing third-party costs. Sending an enquiry does not authorize a charge, reserve credits or give us permission to access your external accounts. Do not send passwords or API keys in an enquiry.
15Changes, questions and complaints
We will identify the effective date of these Terms and provide notice of material changes as required by law. Where renewed agreement is required, we will request it. Changes do not retroactively alter an accepted project quote or remove rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
Contact [Support email] or write to [Business mailing address] about these Terms, service concerns or suspected misuse. For a content complaint, identify the project or material, explain the issue and provide a way to contact you. Avoid sending unnecessary sensitive or harmful material. Nothing in these Terms prohibits an honest review or a report to a regulator.
